Honraras a tu Padre y a tu madre.

El 5. No mataras.

El 6. No cometerás actos impuros.

El 7. No robaras.

Teaching the Faith

The Commandments of the Law of God are ten:

The first three refer to the honor of God and the other seven, to how we relate to our neighbor.

1. Love God above all things.

2. You shall not take the name of God in vain.

3. You shall  keep the sabbath Holy.

4. Honor your Father and your mother.

5. You shall not kill.

6. You shall not commit impure acts.

7. You shall not steal.

8. You shall not give false testimony or lies.

9. You shall not consent to impure thoughts or desires.

10. You shall not covet the property of others.

Brothers, and sisters the ten commandments are the way to lead a life in peace with God and with our neighbor. The Christian who follows the ten commandments pleases God. Through the commandments God shows us the way to find happiness here in this life and in life eternal. Dios te salve, María… Santa María…
V. He aquí la esclava del Señor. R. Hágase en mí según tu palabra.

Dios te salve, María… Santa María…
V. El Verbo se hizo carne.

R. Y vivió entre nosotros.

Dios te salve, María… Santa María…

The Angelus

The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of
our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

Hail Mary…

And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us.

Hail Mary…

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Teaching the Faith
An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Act of Consecration to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit,
Divine Spirit of light and love,
I consecrate to you my understanding,
heart, and will,
my whole being for time and eternity.
May my understanding be always submissive
to your heavenly inspirations,
and to the teaching of the Catholic Church,
of which you are the infallible guide;
may my heart be ever inflamed
with love of God and of my neighbor;
may my will
be ever conformed to the divine will;
and may my whole life
be a faithful imitation of the life
and virtues of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
to whom with the Father and Thee
be honor and glory forever.   Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, as we begin this new year I want to wish all of you a joyous 2020 and may God bestow upon all of you the gift of His Holy Spirit. Teaching the Faith

Image result for the nativity of our lord

The Joyful Mysteries are marked by the joy radiating from the event of the Incarnation.
To meditate upon the joyful mysteries is to enter into the ultimate causes and the deepest meaning of Christian joy. It is to focus on the realism of the mystery of the Incarnation and on the obscure foreshadowing of the mystery of the saving Passion. Mary leads us to discover the secret of Christian joy, reminding us that Christianity is, first and foremost, evangelization, “good news”, which has as its heart and its whole content the person of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, the one Savior of the world.
                                                              – Pope John Paul II

Christmas Prayer

Ever most Holy Trinity Father, Son and Holy Spirit I adore you profoundly, I thank you perpetually, for the gift of salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ, which we celebrate during this Christmas season.

Merry Christmas to all of you.
